Create a Presidential Puzzle

Today you will CREATE a puzzle of your favorite U.S. President.

Step 1.  Go to www.whitehouse.gov, click on the WHITE HOUSE... Next, go to PRESIDENTS.  Select the president you want as the subject of your puzzle.  

Step 2.  Read the president's profile, copy down at least 13 facts about the president, make sure your spelling and data are correct.  After you have all your data, go to www.Puzzlemaker.com to create a puzzle using the facts you found.

Step 3. Click on “Criss-Cross” puzzle to create your puzzle. Make you puzzle 50x50 and the cell size 30. To begin making your puzzle, type in the President’s last name, hit the space bar and then put in your clue. Make sure you don’t put the president’s name in the clue.

Step 4.  Save completed puzzle on your desktop.  Save it AS THE PRESIDENT'S NAME! Then drag it into KellerStudents under PRESIDENTS PUZZLE.
