Captions and Cutlines

You have all seen them underneath photographs in magazines and even on the web.  The short title and descriptions that accompany the pictures are called CAPTIONS (titles) and CUTLINES (explainer sentences).  You will be writing captions and cutlines for your PHOTO ESSAY.  You may have already started, but today I want to make sure your CAPTIONS and CUTLINES are the best they can be.

First take a look at this photograph and read the caption and cutline.
