Bellwork & Assignment 2: The Truth Can Hurt!

Finding out the true story is one of a journalist's main jobs.  But as you saw in the video, sometimes getting the truth can be dangerous.  Sometimes reporters risk their lives to get the truth.  Today's question deals with this issue:

Assignment 2:

One of the most important amendments to the Constitution is 
The First Amendment.  It makes a number of guarantees to citizens of the United States.  Read the First Amendment.  We will practice saying it everyday before class until it is committed to memory.


THE FIRST AMENDMENT

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

Now that we have reviewed the meaning of The First Amendment and the job of a photojournalist, see if you can answer the following questions in the STATEMENT ACTIVITY.
